Meet the Founder
Growing up in the Caribbean, I was surrounded by nature and raised in a family that believed in the power of herbs. For every little ailment, there was always a natural remedy within reach.
As I grew older, I discovered that I had very sensitive skin and reacted negatively to synthetic products. Nature was always my safe haven, but after moving to the United States, the herbs I relied on were no longer as easy to find.
When my son was born with severe eczema, my search for gentle and effective skincare became more personal than ever. Outside of prescribed steroids, only one brand was able to bring him relief. During my time in the military, I managed to afford it, but once my service ended, I had to reevaluate our family budget. That difficult reality led me to discover Formula Botanica, where I learned to create natural, safe skincare products infused with the very botanicals I grew up with.
What started as a necessity for my son quickly blossomed into a calling. Today, Phytika Botanique stands as a reflection of that journey: gentle, botanical skincare crafted for even the most sensitive skin, mindfully made with care and intention.
