Meet the Founder
Carolleen Anderson is a research-driven botanical formulator specializing in skincare for sensitive and reactive skin.
Growing up in the Caribbean, I was surrounded by nature and raised in a family that believed deeply in the power of herbs. For every minor ailment, there was a natural remedy within reach. That early exposure shaped not only my appreciation for botanicals, but my understanding that nature, when used thoughtfully, can support the body in meaningful ways.
As I grew older, I realized that I had very sensitive skin and often reacted negatively to synthetic products. Nature was my refuge, but it wasn’t until my son was born with severe eczema that my relationship with skincare became deeply personal.
What began as a mother’s necessity became a calling.
Searching for gentle, effective solutions pushed me beyond tradition into structured study. I pursued formal education in organic skincare formulation and holistic practice so that every product I create would be grounded not only in heritage, but in research.
Why Sensitive Skin Matters
Sensitive and reactive skin is often misunderstood. It is not simply “delicate”, it is often barrier-compromised, easily triggered, and deserving of restraint.
Many formulations overwhelm reactive skin with high fragrance loads, excessive actives, or unnecessary complexity.
I believe sensitive skin deserves something different.
It deserves calm.
It deserves clarity.
It deserves thoughtful formulation.
My Research Process
Every formula begins with investigation.
Before selecting an ingredient, I review:
